We're now almost halfway through January of 2019. Whether or not you're a new year resolution kinda person, I bet you're still thinking about goals. And I bet there are some goals that have been on your list, on your mind, and on your heart, for quite some time.

Steven Pressfield, the New York Times Bestselling author of "The War of Art" talks about how the more meaningful the goal, project, or endeavor, the more naturally we have Resistance to it.

We put it off, we tell ourselves we can't do it, we avoid taking action, or we just sabotage ourselves along the way.

The Resistance, he says, isn't real, it's just fear. And we've all got it.

It's a natural force that follows every dream, like a shadow.

And we have to face it to seize what's ours. To live our calling.

Psychologists have identified consistent behaviors or mind traps that we fall into that keep us in Resistance. I'd like to help you avoid those traps and the self-sabotage so you can break through to working and living on a higher level.

You're invited to join me for a free online class that I'm teaching for Happify.com on Jan 23rd: How to Overcome Self-Sabotage & Stick to Your Goals

Until then if you'd like to get a taste of what I'll be talking about and hear how I almost fell into the trap this week (it involves tales of treadmills and pinkeye)... watch a quick recording of Wednesday's Work Happier Weekly right here.

With love,
Stella
